I never imagined our final race day to be this ironic.
The day started off in good fashion. Tjeerd Reniers continued his strong season with a 5th place in the Austrian downhill competition Burgenland Grand Prix. Including this race, Tjeerd Reniers finished in the top 9 on 10 of his 13 opportunities as a captain, including 4 results(1 win). All in all a fine season for the Dutch trainee, who cofirmed himself as the leader of this current squad..
Talking about trainees is were the bad news kicks in though. After Tjeerd Reniers (210+ Climber) and Jeroen Luysen(210+ Sprinter) did also the 3rd extraordinary talent from our talents feature max early. Jozua Hollander, a 230+ TTer, well on his way to become one of the best of the OCM world, concludes his training on an average of 43, and a combined TT skill of 193. Therefore, the world might expect some hesitance if it comes to young talents at Twente Cycling Team.
In other news, we have just completed a deal on former captain Piet van Dongen, who is on his way to Official Hooligans on Friday. Thanks for all the effort Piet, we will miss you.
Also, our OCM HD Biography on Roman Petrescu has been accepted into the International information centre. Thanks for that guys.
